I have to say that at first I thought my birthday might be a dud this year. I am currently serving on grand jury duty. This means 13 weeks (yes, that is right) of jury duty. We report each Tuesday for our duties and committee meetings. Of course, my birthday fell on a Tuesday this year - yeah! I was at the courthouse until 3:00 and then made it in to work at 3:30. When I unlocked my office door this is what I walked into:
 |
| balloons, x-mas lights, streamers, treats, candles |
 |
| All of my B& H pictures had little birthday hats on them! |
It was a big surprise! All of my co-workers started singing and Lauren made me a special birthday treat that had no chocolate in it!! I blew out the candles and was once again thankful that I work in such a fun office!
Chris also had some fun cooking back home. When I got home, he sent me upstairs with a glass of wine to relax until he had everything ready. He set a cute little table for us to enjoy a delicious dinner. He made my favorite fresh tuna burgers with wasabi mayo and a cucumber/onion salad for garnish. He also made some sweet potato fries and sweet corn. Holy smokes it was amazing. Yum!!!
